Railclone material operator and corona
« on: September 26, 2019, 01:41:32 PM »
Hi

I have just spent the past hour trying to figure out why this isn't working... It would be really great if you could detect the render engine in use and disallow adding operators that don't work.. Or at least a warning.

Hi,

Currently, some features are "fully supported" only in case of the V-Ray render engine (as you can see in the Feature Compatibility table, for the rest of renderers it can be enabled by turning off the instancing engine).
Use of features like Material / UVW XForm Operators are just partially supported.

To get it working correctly with the Corona Renderer, the Use Instancing Engine should be switched off as shown on the attached screen-shot.

I must add that we're working to support the Material operator for all render engines and RailClone Tools, without having to deactivate instancing.
This feature will be included in RailClone 4.
