A2S Extended - Z offset
« on: July 05, 2022, 11:43:34 AM »
When A2S works as Extended X/Y on X-XY mode the Y offset and Z offset work in the same direction. I know why is this happening, we discussed it during the betas. Although it is an easy fix to add one Transform Operator, it would be nice to have it fixed.

Hm, maybe to check L1S for the same issue when General X rotate=90.

Seems OK to me. The Z and Y axis remains in relation to the spline on a rotated array, but as I recall that was a deliberate decision.

As I see now (5.2.6) Y offset remains distant from the spline but the Z offset will rotate around the Segment`s Pivot.

I set the viewport rendering thickness to the Spline for a better view.

Check the left view:
Y offset=0
Z offfset=10
change X rotation

I understand how and why it works like that but from my experience, it always gives me unwanted results.  :-\
