RC PATTERN

Hi, I'm trying to create some pattern but no success...
I have two individual boxes and I want to create from them a specific pattern on a simple path and I want to
have the control on the random hight of each individual pieces.

I added a very simlpe max file and a photo that explain visualy what I want + the reference.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for contacting us. Please find attached a sample file to illustrate how this can be achieved. The key here is using negative padding to overlap the segments so that they look as though they're one above the other. To calculate this value I've used the exported X size of the segment so that you can easily change the segment's geometry and the style will still work. The full graph with a brief explanation for each part looks like this:
