Title: Adjusting the roof tile presets
Post by: FC1888 on March 03, 2021, 01:07:51 PM
Hi

I have a problem. I want to make the slate tiles of the slate tile preset thicker, without messing up the rest of the preset. Have tried exporting all the segments and scaling their thickness, but that doesn't have the desired effect. I have tried using the "Tile Thickness" parameter in the Roof Macro, but again, it does not produce the desired effect.. I am at a loss as to how to simply make al the tiles thicker. I was hoping this would be simple and maybe it is, but I am just going about it the wrong way.

Any help much appreciated

Hi

Have You tried adding transform nodes and set their Z size to desired amount:

Perfect... thanks Rokas.

By the way, still on the subject of roof tiles, will we be seeing the ability to cap the holes in sliced roof tiles, in an update to Railclone. or is there already a way to do this that I am unaware of.

Thanks again.

That is already possible.
You just need to go inside the macro, choose array 2 s generator and there it is an option to cap holes:
