Railclone Ceiling System
« on: May 02, 2019, 12:59:18 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to adapt the railclone object from the creating ceilings tutorial, but struggling to achieve the desired result!

Firstly, is it possible to always have a border of ceiling tiles around the entire perimeter of the clipping spline, so that the lights are not close or touching the walls, as they would be in reality?

Secondly, is it possible to export a parameter to control the spacing/grid pattern of the lights? If, for instance, I wanted 3 ceiling tiles THEN a light panel, resulting in a grid ceiling system with less lights?

I have attached my scene and example jpegs, hope all is clear!

Any help greatly appreciated guys.

Tim
