Title: Array 2S1 roof problem.

Hi, this time I have this question, I have laid a roofing but I want to add variety to it using stepped rotation of 90 degrees but I don't know how to make it so that on the next new spline there is a random rotation of 90 degrees, I send images of what I want to get and a working file. I mean whether it is possible to rotate random Z rotation in the generator and how to do it .

Thanks for the question. It's not possible to randomise Generator properties unless they are nested. In the attached solution I've nested the roof in a second A2S generator which makes it possible to use the randomise node in the Z Rotation input.

We also need the nested generator to only create the geometry for each specific closed spline in turn when it is selected. Otherwise each sub spline would use the whole roof are due to the nesting. To do this you will see I am using some logic nodes. Basically, this turns on geometry only for the current sub-spline when it is picked by the master generator.

It's rather hard to explain, but it's an interesting case so I might explain it in this weeks YouTube livestream if you have no objections.
