Railclone and unwanted segment
« on: July 22, 2015, 05:23:26 PM »
hello,
I'm building walls for a large project and I want to use directly the autocad lines to save time. Unfortunately, the lines are not very accurate which causes the addition of unwanted segment. (see attachment)

I can shorten the line but I have a lot of them...and  I can't  slice the segment because their lenght must be always the same.
So Is there a way to prevent this?
Thank you
Pierre

Hi Pierre,

I assume you're using adaptive mode? If so you can adjust the amount of space required before a new segment is added using the Adaptive Percentage value.

Alternatively you could be more exact by specifying the number of segments using a Material ID applied to the path using this setup

I've attached both approaches in the attached  file for you to take a look at.

I hope that helps, please let me know if there's anything else I can do.

Many thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,
I was working with tile because I thougth it was best to preserve the lenght.
I change to adaptative and it's working better.
Thank you very much !
