Title: Auto Align-> Spline bug
Post by: Rokas on September 11, 2017, 11:19:59 AM
I've attached a simplified scene where autoalign mode misbehaves.

Hi Rokas,

Big thanks for reporting it (our main developers will have a look at it). Meanwhile, using the Hierarchy Checking > None seems to work fine for such scene.

Best regards,

Thank You.
I will find a way,- pobably use multiple splines for multiple RC objects.. just want to report and maybe get a fix for next project...

Hi, problem is caused by an extra sub-spline placed at the edge. It's generating a wierd result when computing the spline's hierarchy.

Just delete it.

I've attached a simplified scene, i need that spline! And lots more splines, which I deleted as well, but those did not cause problems.

Cannot you move them to another spline object ?
If not, other solution may be to set a different ID and set Hierarchy Checking->By Mat ID.

RailClone needs to check what splines are contained in others, to create the holes correctly. But the hierarchy checking algorithm cannot solve overlapped splines or placed in the edge.
