Object scale change
« on: December 14, 2020, 09:29:35 PM »
Is it possible to do this kind of string chair back with railclone.
So the strings are getting shorter closer to the arms?

Thank you Rokas but I can't get the rope to follow the spline(rotating) also top and bottom splines aren't excluded and the scaling of shortest ropes is too flattened.

Hi again.

This is my attempt at this chair. Splines used should have some obvious direction so RC can make geometry for them. Otherwise- not possible. As a final tweak You can add FFD on top of RC itself.

Hope this helps at least a bit.

Thank you Rokas, looks awesome! What do you mean "Splines used should have some obvious direction so RC can make geometry for them" ?

You could not align rc segment because they are too vertical. I have increased the angle they are sloping.
