Composed Blocks not aligning in adaptive
« on: September 11, 2020, 10:29:10 AM »
Hi,

Here is a simple test case of 3 long boxes, instanced from the same base mesh with vertical translations. I combine them (grouped) and reset the pivots, and all kinds of strange things occur...

It should be 3 boxes with a 5cm vertical gap between them forming a continuous wall. Not too sure what I am doing wrong here, maybe i need to be nesting linear generators instead?

Hi. You are using random translation. from 0 to 0.3 instead of fixed, thus this behavior:

Ok, the segments still overlap though...?

This only occurs with vertical deform settings. On adaptive they work ok.

Hi,
If segment deforms is vertical, try disabling `Slope Fixing`
