window tutorial
« on: January 26, 2016, 03:30:18 PM »
Hello,

I've tried the new tutorial, and then tried it using a Marvin window that was modeled for a job.
I think I'm following the steps correctly, so I think maybe my model won't work with the same style.
I think it is because the transom left side and default and x evenly segments are different  profile etc from the lower parts.
I emailed Paul a max file in case it helps.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You're correct that the issue here is that the sides and evenly segments above the transom are different from below. To fix this you'll need to add two additional segments with the correct profile and wire them to the existing Sequence operators as shown below.

I'll email you my revised style but if you have any further questions please feel free to let me know.

Many thanks!

Paul.

Thank you so much Paul!  I was sure it was something like that, but was not sure about how to proceed.
I checked your example and now have corrected my RC object, too!
