Title: Can the 'Evenly' distance change depending on curvature of spline?
Post by: Adam86 on May 29, 2018, 03:31:11 PM
Hi, might be asking a basic question (again) here but can you increase the amount of 'posts' for instance around a curve? i'm asking as I am creating a fence, which has long distances between posts, however around large radius i want the distance to decrease so it isn't as faceted. I currently have the evenly set to 1.8m and want to reduce it down to 800mm-1000mm. I'm playing around with conditional's and doubling up on linear 1s but feels messy to me.

thanks,
A

Easiest would be to split to Two material ID- one is dense and one is not and have two generators for each of the style.

Thanks Rokas, I was trying to keep everything as automated as possible, is there another way? almost need a 'reduce facet' option within the evenly option, and add a number there?

The method you have mentioned obviously works great btw.
