Hi
I've followed the tutorial on the making of ceiling with RC.
But I have a lot of difficulties to make my own ceiling, with the same models.
It's a simple rectangulaire spline but I don't find how to rythm the elements; all day for that is too much...

Thanks for contacting us. It looks as though you are having problems positioning the lights to match a floor plan and creating the correct spacing? If so you may find it easier to set the object up so that the size of the ceiling is not automatically derived from the clipping spline, this will give you the ability to adjust the position of the RC Object manually and apply clipping afterwards. To do this, starting with the scene file from the Ceilings tutorial:
- Open the Style editor, select the generator and turn off Properties > General > Clipping Area > Extend X/Y Size to Area
- Enter a value in Properties > Geometry X Size and Y Size to create an array large enough to cover the ceiling area
- Move the entire RC object over the clipping spline so that the lights are positioned where you would like them
- Open the Base Objects rollout and reselect the clipping spline from the scene to update the clipping operation
If you need to change the spacing between lights you can do this by editing the counters in the Sequence operators.

Thanks a lot for these explanations. You guys are amazing, you always spend enough time to explain things. This is really appreciable !
I didn't know we can move the entire RC object : this is a good thing for my project and I found the solution to my problem with it.
I will post an image when it will be rendered.
