Hi,
Was looking to make circular patterns in some paving and came across this - https://forum.itoosoft.com/railclone-pro-(*)/circular-paving/
Is there a way to have other circles automatically cut when they reach the first circle?
E.G - main circle paving in middle has a full circle, one slightly to top left of main circle is made but is only about 270 degrees of circle and stops where main circle is.
-
example attached to better explain myself. where the blue line is, i would like the other 2 circles to cut.

Hi,
Thanks for the second post, that's much clearer. In order to cut out that circle, you'd need to have two separate RailClone objects, as follows:
RC Object 1 - Creates the two top circles
RC Object 2 - Creates the bottom circle which uses a separate spline
You can then add the spline used in RC object 2 as a Clipping Spline in RC object 1 and change to mode to Exclude

I hope that helps

looks like its coming together! few tweaks to spline and pattern needed but works!
