compose without forming new group pivots - or symmetry
« on: July 23, 2021, 11:00:07 AM »
I'm looking for a function similar to the max symmetry moddifier - a mirror image of some nested arrays, distributed either side of a single spline.

If I use compose - sequential mode it seems to get the effect I'm after, just offset for each group, but when I switch to grouped mode, it combined the mirror images in to a single group. Being that the mirror transform needs to be done just before the array, I can't think of another way of combining the two. I can think of some other ways of doing it, such as two arrays or or duplicating the splines, but they seem like a little bit of a bodge!

Appreciate any ideas as usual.

Hi, without seeing your style I can't be sure, but it seems that the L1S Generator's Mirror, Flip and Y Offset parameters should be able to help you in this case.

Cheers,
