Consistent problem I have with Pavements and Array 2
« on: February 24, 2023, 03:53:49 PM »
Hi,

This is something that seems to happen in a lot of my pavements arrays. See image_001.

Basically the pavements are clipped too much in some spline areas and work perfectly in others.

All verts are set to corner and they're no unwelded verts.

See other images for reference.

Hi,

Are you able to increase the Clippings Expand value in the generator's settings?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply.

That did indeed help. There are some errors still.

What I also found is when we hit a corner with a vertex set to corner, it has trouble. So when I set that vertex to Bezier corner and change it so it's more than 180 degrees it fixes the issue(image_004), sort of. I still wouldn't want to have to bend my corners and rather work with corners vertexes where there are corners.

See images attahced image_004 is where I change the vertex type and image_005 is with when I expand the clipping area like suggested.

Thank you.
