Creating scaleable segment inside a triangular clipping area
« on: August 27, 2019, 03:10:25 PM »
Hi there
I'm looking for some help to make a glass roof similar to the picture attached. Any help would be very much appriecated.

I have created an Array using a triangular clipping area and a model i created of one of the windows. In the Array i have created, everything is working as expected however i cannot figure out how to make the windows gradually smaller on the x-axis as it travels up the y-axis (to the smaller top section of the triangle). I added 'Increments by Y Pos' to the 'X Fixed Scale' of the Transform node connected to the window Segment and this did make the windows smaller but it doesn't give the desired effect. Somehow i need to make the top and bottom of each windows transform in size as well.

If anyone knows how to do this please let me know

Many thanks

Hi

Unfortunately I doubt that is possible with RailClone. I do not know how RailClone could help in this case.
