Curve parameters
« on: October 19, 2021, 12:47:07 PM »
Hello! In the future, was it planned to make a parameter of the curve?

Hi. No, it's not planned.

What do you want to achieve exactly ?

Hi, I am trying to create a curvature parameter. I thought if there is such a parameter, it can be used as a multiplier of some effect.

Hi!
Another problem I ran into! My geometry is deformed

I think the more correct solution here would be to build in this way. If I'm wrong, please correct me!

That's it. You must use a Y spline to define the curve along the array.

Regarding the deformation, turn off Segment->Deform->Bend and Slice checkboxes.
In RC5 (still in beta), you also can turn on Force Instance, which has the same effect.

Thanks! I figured out how to create an array more flexibly. I will definitely update to version 5 a little later!
