Curved shingles with offsets
« on: December 07, 2018, 10:22:56 AM »
I've set up some splines that are curved and have shingles that run down them on little levers that can open and close them. I'm attaching the graph and a snippet of it in viewport.

I want to have one of the columns offset by 50% to the other, each column is its own railclone at the moment. How can I simply shift it down by 50%? It seems to always end aligned the same even if it starts offset.

Have I set this up wrong at all? The X rotation is exposed so i can open and close them for each RC object.

typical... I may have just solved it after posting this. I used the end and start padding to shift it and then lowered the count by 1. seems to be ok at the moment, not sure if there is a better way though.
