Different Default Mode (Tile, Adaptive, and Scale) within 1 L1S generator

(1/1)

Mannii RC:
I have a wood batten wall and also a flat concrete wall.

I can do both separately, but this will be used over and over in multiple projects.
So, I created a wall with 'Selector' node + XSplineMaterial ID as a selector, so that I can do
Spline ID : 1 = Wood Batten
Spline ID : 2 = Concrete
Spline ID : 3 = Glass

So, from here, I can create an entire wall from just 1 spline + railclone, change ID 1 for wood area, 2 for concrete, and 3 for glass

Here's the problem. I want the
Wood Batten to use 'Adaptive'
Concrete to use 'Tile'
Glass to be 'Scale'

How would I do this? I tried exporting parameters of the Tile/Scale, Adaptive, Default count, Scale Padding, and I don't know how I can switch between them on different spline ID

Michal KarmazĂn:
Hi,

The Default Mode cannot be changed for different sections of the base spline. However, you can achieve this by using multiple Generators within one style and setting the corresponding Material ID under Properties > Limits. I hope this helps.
