Feature request - perfect align [Magnet?]
« on: November 05, 2020, 10:09:40 AM »
Hi,
I'm scattering fence section with railclone - and still there are some problems. I'm forced to do some hand work after using 'instanciate tool'.
Is there any way to align all objects perfectly? (maybe I'm doing something wrong).
Please keep in mind the initial mesh cannot be bent or scales or anything else or cut - it should keep 100% initial shape and transformation.
Or maybe there could be added some feature (additional tool) - maybe we can place some helpers points on the mesh and they would work like a magnet and attract to each other?
Thanks!

I think it just should match what You get in Parametric RailClone, Instanced Geometry, and Exported Geometry.

yes, they match both - but looks like raiclone cannot do alignment perfectly.
That's why after "instance tool" I have some handwork to do (some extra rotation manipulations).
