herring bone 4x3

Ive been trying to do this pattern but cant seem to get how to set this up i have the pattern but i cant seem to get the offset working , any thoughts on how to do this.

Thanks for contacting us. You might find this tutorial on creating Parquet flooring helpful, it features a Herringbone style and the same techniques should be able to be used, even if the sizes of the source segments are diffferent.

It calculates the correct offsets and padding automatically based on the size of the board.

ha, I'm working on a herringbone path. I had used a similar geometry as to what you've got, but without that blue piece. Then I offset the tiling of the bricks until they lined up, and then rotated 45 degrees. It looks like in the iToo tut they already have the bricks modeled at the correct angle. I see that they assembled 2 pieces to be oriented into each other - but then separated them for reassembly in railclone. That's the step I missed!
