Title: End Segment in Compose
Post by: VelvetElvis on November 15, 2019, 01:23:14 PM
I'm using a compose operator to create lights hanging on strings at random heights. Everything is working as expected, except the end segment isn't getting centered. All of other segements are centered, the cable is centered to the body of the light. Is there something that is off here? I'm on RailClone 3.3.1

Some screencaps and the Max 2018 file are attached. Thanks!

Works fine on my screen? Unless I'm looking at the wrong bit.

Only the end segment is the one that is off, and you kind of have to zoom in to see it since these objects are so small. It should look like the screencap of the body and wire not centered on each other.

It would be interesting to see if this was an issue just local to my machine.

Is it the end segment on all of the splines? Or one spline in particular? I couldn't find it.

If you pull the splines together, you can see it easier than with the full length. The center vertex can be removed as this seems to only affect the end segment, at least on my screen.

I can confirm the issue in previous version of RC 3.3.1. It is correct in latest Version RC 4.1.0.
