Hi guys,
is this known? On MAX 2023, and RC 6.4.0 I used Escalator with glass handrails and normal CPU vray renderer kept crashing. Figured out the RC steps BLEND material is crashing it. When I used my own alu material for it it stopped.

I've just performed a quick test with the Escalator - Glass Handrails style using 3ds Max 2025 & RailClone Pro 6.4.0, but I couldn't reproduce the mentioned issue—it renders just fine. Could you please specify the V-Ray version you're using? Also, if possible, please feel free to send us (https://forum.itoosoft.com/faq/how-to-send-a-file-to-itoo-software/) your scene - preferably simplified and containing only the problematic object(s). Ideally, if you can reproduce it in a minimal scene, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

vray 7 hotfix 1. Yes, I can send my scene too.

I have 4 copies of the escalator. Maybe that affects it too somehow. Normal copy, not instance.

I've done some additional tests using V-Ray 7 Hotfix 1, but I can't reproduce any issues on my end. If that leads to a "3ds max crash" on your configuration, can you please save and send us (http://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=3648.0) the minidump file of the crash (https://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=1484.0)? Hopefully, it'll point to the problem source. Thanks in advance.

Just tried to recreate it myself by deleting the object and making a new one again so it picks up the RC material and seems ok now. So I guess it was some freak accident. Will get back to you if I encounter it again.
