Title: Extract tiles mapping macro error
Post by: Anthony Lester on April 05, 2019, 09:21:22 AM
Hi, hopefully someone can help me with this one.

I am trying to extract a tiled map, I went through the tutorial and managed to get it to work (RC object on the left), I then noticed that there was a macro that's description suggests it does the same thing but I cannot get it to work (RC object on the right) some segments map correctly but others seem to be offset on the U by 50% - why is this an how can I fix it.

I have a much more complicated RC object that I would like to use the macro on instead of using the 'manual' process.

TIA

Hi,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Please accept my apologies - on further investigation it appears that the Stack Bond version of the Macro had been overwritten with the Running Bond version. I've attached the correct Stack Bond version to this post. We'll also fix it in a macro update via update manager soon.

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks Paul, glad its not me going mad!!

Sounds like a silly question but I've never had to 'load' a macro before, where do I need to save the file to see it in the macro library or user library, or how can I load it manually?

Hi Anthony,

You load a Macro by dragging a new Macro node to the graph. You can then right-click on the node, choose Load From, and pick a .rcm file.

Hope that helps, please let me know if there's anything else I can do.

Cheers,
