Hello,
I'm trying to create a parametric decor for a building façade. It went really easy with a simple line, but as soon as I tried to work with angles to go around the building volume I couldn't find a way to make the angles work properly.
Here is what I'm trying to achieve :

Here are the 3 elements:

Here is my issue:

Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance for your assistance! I'm joining a .max file if that helps.

Please take a look at the attached file. I made the following changes.
- The RC object was rotated 90 degrees on the X-axis. I set this to 0 and reselected the Spline
- Changed the Segments' Alignment > Z to top. Changed the other axes to automatic.
- Enabled Rules > Bevel Corner and set the BC Offset to 50%
- Change the corner segment so that it was twice as large on the X Axis. This will allow it to bevel on the corners better without leaving fragments of the sides where it is cut.
I hope that helps,
Paul

Hello, thanks for your help! However I think you forgot to add the file. I tried to tweak the settings as you said, it's much better but not exactly what I need. May you send me the file please? Cheers!

Oops - You're right. Here it is.

Almost there, cheers!
Any ideas on how to ensure to have the shape number (1) around both sides of the angles (3),
so the pattern is always 1-2-1-2-1-2-(ect...)1-angle-1-2-1-2-1(ect...), as you can see on the 1st image of my first post?

Hi,
That should be possible using a Compose operator in the Corner input. You can then wire 3 to the first input and 1 to the second. Please see attached.
