Feature Request - Clipping Area Offset
« on: January 05, 2017, 05:31:37 PM »
I'd like to request a feature that feel would greatly help me and others in several ways. I am currently creating building podiums from a single spline and am using some Array 2S generators to create some flat roofs and some floors using the spline as a clipping area. I'd like to be able to offset the edge of these from the original spline so that I can control how they meet up with parapets and wall elements. Is this something that could be added to the generator and implemented in the next release of RC? See diagrams attached for what I am talking about adding.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, I can see that it would be useful and I've added it our wish list.

Many thanks,

Paul.

Currently, as a workaround in some situations You can use free spline offset plugin.
