Simple stairs non vertical
« on: April 09, 2023, 05:27:38 pm »
Hi
see image attached, a simple post and 2 splines, cannot get the posts to go vertical, any ideas. It's probably me but never had this problem and it keeps cropping up, sometime it works and usually it doesn't.
Having to copy vertical deforms from other projects and attaching the 'new' segments.
thanks
Spike

Hi,

It should work. The only case that Z Deform cannot be used, is for non-deformable object (as proxies). But this don't seem the case.

Please, upload your sene to check what is happening exactly.

It is probably due orientation of RC objects.
Check the RC Icon and make sure it is laying on the XY plane.

Hi
thanks Dragan, looks like it was because I 'drew' the RC logo in the front view, not on the XY plane
thanks
