Floating License Error 10060

Hi,

We're having a problem with the license server. We're connecting via VPN and most of the time the connection is failing.
Here is the error:



The strangest thing is that rarely, on a random occasion, the connection is successful.

Could you please advise what the cause may be?

P.S. Forest Pack is obtaining licenses without any problem.

Hi,

The 10060 is generic error code triggered by Windows. It just means it was not possible to connect with the server.
That may have multiple causes, but usually depends of the underlying network connection. I'm afraid there is little we can do about it.

Regarding the diference with Forest, please run C:\Program Files\Itoo Software\RailClone Pro\LicenseMode.exe, and check if the IP of your server is explicitely defined, as shown in the attached image.
'Automatic' mode usually doesn't work with VPN connections.
