Hey guys,
I'm looking to make the pattern attached, ive managed to get close using a rectangle spline, however when the spline seems to get a bit more complicated, I cant seem to work how how to have a different piece in the middle of the floor, and a small piece running round the edge.
Ive tried to use the conditional node, along with using the "start, top, bottom and end" within the array to tell it where to put the edge segments, however i just cant seem to work it out.
Any help would be amazing,
thanks!

Hi
Thanks for question. I attach You my attempt to create style like this:

I have used Array 2S generator to fill the outlined path and Linear 1S generator to make outer decorative outline.
Hope this helps.
File attached.

Thank you very much for you quick reply! this technique looks great, i was thinking if there was a way to put it all into 1 array to keep the path inside the spline? Rather than having the outline outside of the spline?
thanks again

It is not possible to combine both patterns into one array.

I think he`s talking about one RC object with the setup to use Spline as the outside border.
I think You can just add Y offset to both Arrays and use the size of the outside tile.

While You can offset Linear Arrays, You can't offset clipping spline. This is the improvement in our to do list.
"Y offset" currently does what it says- shifts whole pattern in Y axis Clipping spline stays the same.

Great to know Rokas,
How high up the 'to do list' is the clipping spline offset? ;)

I guess I can count Your vote +1 ;)
