getting markers to work with multiple generators
« on: September 14, 2021, 10:25:08 PM »
hopefully I can explain this clearly enough. Is there a way to get multiple generators to respect one set of markers?
- I have a simple version of my curtain wall setup and markers seem to work great (see problem 1.jpeg)
- If I then add mullions (the orange ones in problem 2.jpg), they disregard the markers and wind up in the sliding doors.

Hi,

Please see the attached file for a simplified example on how this can be achieved. In short, each generator is evaluated separately, so you'll need to create a gap in the Mullions array that takes into consideration the doors. You can do this by wiring a Transform node to the Market input and then connect its X Fixed Size to the Door's X Size attribute.

I hope that helps,
Paul
