Yes, that is close enough to my workflow. Minimum polycount, the texture remains...
It could be difficult to track for Newbie Users but it will do the job.
I did an initial generator to mimic real-world mapping so I had the initial MapSize input Parameter as a ratio divider which will always keep the initial map size.
If my current project allows me I`ll look for this generator and make a Macro so we can share this with Community. I believe a lot of users had similar needs.
You can post just your last post as a separate Topic or even better as the new tutorial.
In a meantime, you can show the algorithm to the dev. team so they can code it.  ;D 8)
