Gradient probability for different pattern of gradient
(1/1)
Mannii RC:
Hey there!
I have really enjoyed using Railclone.
From this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOt4VJDIH5I&)
QUICK TIP: Creating gradient probability effects in 3ds Max and RailClone (intermeditate)
I understood everything. Great tutorial!
However, I need to make another pattern where kind of go back to the original color as well
so, from yellow, fading to blue, then fade back to yellow.
something like this : https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-vector-seamless-halftone-honeycomb-gradient-pattern-125846122.html
Right now, I'm creating a workaround by just chop the building in half and it fades up and down, which is very not ideal.
If there's a way to do this, please give me some guide.
Next question on the lower priority, but relating to the topic.
What if I want different type of gradient?
For example (https://www.shutterstock.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2018/05/Gradient-Tool-Types.jpg)
Is there a possibility to do these?

Hi,
I would suggest you check this closely related post, which includes a sample scene that uses three colors (in your case, the third one would be the same as the first one). For more complex gradients (it might be tricky to define these with an expression), you can use the RailClone Color map. I hope that helps.
