Title: Herringbone Floor Problem
Post by: philm on February 19, 2014, 12:08:54 PM
Hello
I'm having a problem with the Herringbone parquet tutorial for railclone.
I went through all the steps and I keep getting the error message "invalid base objects".
I've attached the scene, thanks for any help!
Phil

Hi Phil,

I've checked out your file and the problem is that you're using an L1S generator, this is designed to create railclone objects that follow a spline in a linear fashion. You need to use the A2S generator that creates the 2D arrays necessary for this type of style. Here's the node tree:

Hope that helps,

Thanks,

Hi Paul,
Thanks a lot, I got it to work now. Should have read the tutorial more carefully!
