Title: Hit and Miss Brick help
Post by: LC3D on November 07, 2024, 12:59:07 pm
Hey all,

I'm trying in vein to create a hit and miss brick using a 2d array with x and y splines...
for the life of me I just can figure it out...

I've attached the file here, if anyone can help me out I'd be very grateful!

Many thanks.
Luke.

Hi Luke,

Attached is a revised version of your scene. In this version, "Full" and "Half" segments are alternated at the Start and End Inputs using the Sequence Operator. With the Padding parameter, you can easily adjust the Left and Right Padding for segments linked to the Default Input.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Hey Michael,

Sorry, just another question...

do you think there would be any way to create this whole wall with the hit and miss brick in that particular section with RC?
see attached image...?

I'm just not finding a way to make this look realistic...

Many, many thanks...

Luke.

Yes, for example, you can use the spline’s Material ID to control where it will be applied. Please find attached a revised version of your scene (241108_HitMissBrick_ITOOSOFT.max). I hope that helps.

Best regards,
