Title: How can I use curve in nurb surface imported from Houdini for Railclone?
Post by: Louis on May 29, 2022, 02:28:28 AM
I want to use a curve imported from the Houdini that could use for Railcone.

What's stopping from using Railclone is that the curve from Houdini is nurb surface which doesn’t work according to Railclone that needs an editable spline.

Is there a way for Railcone to work with nurb surface?
If not, then how can I export in editable splines from Houdini instead nurb surface?

Thank you!

Hi,

As you've pointed out, RailClone only supports spline and not Nurbs I'm afraid. We're not Houdini experts and couldn't advise on the best way to get Houdini Engine to output a Spline object. Perhaps their support team could help out with this one?

Sorry, I can't be of more help.

Paul
