Hi,

As mentioned in this thread (https://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=3705.msg14472#msg14472): "To work correctly the RailClone object should be entirely enclosed by the boundaries of the surface. If the RailClone object overlaps a boundary, unwanted deformation can occur. Feel free to scale down your Clipping Spline a bit to double check, if it helps with those artefacts."

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanks for the provided scene. Usually, it's better to have the Surface "oversized" a little bit more. In the attached scene, where I've used the Outline (& Inset) value of 50 cm (I've exaggerated it to show, that's in this case better to have enough space around the Clipping area) it behaves correctly. Attaching the modified scene. Hope you'll find it useful.

Best regadrs,

ok thanks so i have to instantiate the railclone object after creating a clean border or untick "renderable" in the object properties to hide the construction plane for the final render.

thanks!
