Title: how to do stepped from top?

How I can make railcone to give me stepped when spline is at one level in Z but I want to stepped left or right.

Hi Lukasz,

You can rotate the RC object itself as needed - to get its "Z" axis aligned with the intended direction (if the sreen-shot is taken from the top view, setting the X rotation to -90º should do the trick).

After RC object rotation You do need to adjust Your style with some rotation settings:
