Request for help
« on: February 08, 2024, 07:51:40 AM »
Hi!
I want to use RC to make such a floor. After a few hours, I did not succeed, and then there was no such style in the preset of Library. Can I help me make a example and then use this to fine -tune.

Hi,

There are multiple ways to achieve it. One possible style setup would be to use the Sequence Operator in the Increment at Y mode and align these rows as needed - you can adjust the negative Bottom Padding value and positive Right Padding value for these purposes. Please find attached a sample scene (240208_floorPattern_iToo.max) showing this possible style setup. I hope that helps.

Best regards,

Hi!
I tried it, but the vertical wooden floor could not be added. Once it was added, it was confused. Can you help me modify it? Thank you very much! The attachment is my screenshot and MAX file.

Please find attached a modified version of your scene (240208_Floor_iToo.max) showing a possible solution - I've used the Compose Operator in the Grouped mode to put these parts together before using them in the Sequence Operator. I hope that helps.
