I have such a problem, I am making a floor on the roof at two heights, one larger, the other smaller, I would like it to be on the basis of one line, hence my question how to adjust the size of the floor to two different shapes without adding additional splines. Is there any possibility to shift, scale or otherwise modify it to make it work?

Hi,
Using an “empty Segment” with a defined X & Y Size as needed, wired to Start, End, Top & Bottom inputs of the corresponding Generator should do the trick. I hope that helps ;)

I tried this method and it would be perfect for simple shapes, but not very rounded, because I lose the shape that I need to keep

Hi,
Sure, that works just for simple rectangular shapes – in case of any more complex shapes, you should offset the spline as needed.

Yes I want offset the spline but not losing its main shape, something like an outline but inside.I would like the floor that is made to scale it inwards by 10%, keeping the original shape.

I used spline offset modifiers with Id work fine , but would it be possible to implement spline offset as a modifier to the spline editing generator ? Maybe there is some other way to make a roof floor in two different sizes without using additional splines. I want to use only one spline because I'm making it a parammetric library and the user who will use these buildings will not know that he has to add an additional modifier in the form of splineoffset, so it is important that this modifier be used in the generator for spline editing
