Title: Instance all the styles of all the Railclone objects EXCEPT the input SPLINE ?

Hi iToosoft,
May I ask a question ? Is it possible to instance all the properties and styles of all the Railclone objects EXCEPT the input SPLINE objects ? Because they are all the same style but I want to animate the spline sepreately. I may change the style later. Any workaround ?

MAX2012 64bit RC 2.3.3

Hi, unfortunately it's not possible. For Max, instanced objects share all properties between them, including external references (the spline in this case).

For next updates, we want to implement some way to share the style between several RC objects, but currently that is not implemented.
You must create copies of the RC object, copy the style using Style->Copy From/to/multiple if this is modified, and assign the splines separately.
