gaps when building components
« on: November 27, 2017, 08:08:06 AM »
I’m doing 2.7 exercise of “next steps with rail clone”. The file is "ligne_roset_snowdonia_large_settee_vray".  I did the slicing both manually and using railclone slicer script with same result. Segment alignment set to “Y to Pivot”.
Question: When adding “default” segment, it does not fill all remaining gaps!

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch. I can see from the attached files that there is a small problem with the source geometry. It would appear that the slicing operation has left some isolated vertices on the model, and it's these that's causing the spacing issues.

Delete these vertices and everything should work as expected.

Many thanks,

Paul.
