RC object goes missing?
« on: January 03, 2017, 03:35:16 PM »
Hi,

I'm currently building a RC paving library for an urban landscape design project and have run into the following issue; sometimes an RC object goes partly missing during rendering. As far as I can tell it's happend to a couple of the objects present which have a running bond layout. Below some quick tests with selections. Have you guys run into this before? The landscape project will run anywhere from a year to 10 years because of the scope so I want to have a good base to keep me going for awhile without having to redo large portions of the project anytime soon.

RC Objects are pretty simple, simple box for tiles and I've used the different files you have posted on the forum as a base to build the layouts (stack, running, herringbone). You can ignore the manholes in the images, they are separate geo placed on top.

Thanks!

System:
i7 5820K / 32GB / 3GB video / 3ds max 2014 / vray3.4 / latest RC

Hi,

Unfortunately, just from provided images, it's hard to say what might be causing it. Would you mind to send us your scene to have a look at it here? Big thanks for your collaboration, your feedback is very important to us.

Best regards,
