Limit Bend
« on: December 13, 2019, 09:18:02 AM »
Hi,

<On a segment object properties>
<With the Vertical Deform mode ticked>
Is there a way to limit the "Bend" deform effect to the Z plan?

Best Regards,

PAC

Hi,
You do have some options to adjust the bending:

Hi Rokas,

TY for your answer.

I think this is not exactly what I am looking for...

Here 2 pictures:

1° - Vertical Deform + Bend

2° - Stepped Deform + no Bend

What I want is the Z bending effect of the first one with the XY no bending effect of the second one.

Is there any way?

You can make spline segments straight and RC will respect that:

TY again Rokas for helping :)

But I still have trouble making my wall.

Here is my wall:

And this is the problem I get, the geometry bends on the main object:

All my vertices are corners except 2 of them that are bezier-corners for the 2 posts:

Any solutions?
