Title: Manual rotation/twist along spline
Post by: OL5007 on September 26, 2018, 07:02:18 PM
Hi there, i try to create a simple hollow slide along a spline. My problem is as the spline changes it's direction the hollow profile should change it's rotation like a twist, just for a certain distance. Then if it comes to another curve it has to be rotated again etc..  It would be great if it would work a bit like the loft compound with it's graph based twist controller. Is there a way to achieve that?
By the way, I tried manipulating the spline handles, but this is very limited and it changes the splines shape. So i don't know any other way to rotate knots of the spline itself.

Maybe the pic illustrates my problem more clearly ;)

Thanks a lot for helping!

Hi,

Thank You for the question. Unfortunately with current RailClone version there is no possibility to control this. This feature is in our todo list.

Probably not in next, but in some future version.
