Hi,

If you could upload a file with your progress so far that'd be great :) . It's hard to tell what the issue might be from the image.

Many thanks!

Hi!

Thanks for the file, it's very helpful. I can see the issue is related to the Y Sequence counts. On the Y Axis,  row #1  is the bottom and row#2 is the first default segment. Therefore to compensate you need to increase the count for the existing first input to 2.

I also noticed that there were a few alignment issues between the glass and the frame. To fix this, change all the segment's Alignment > Z property to Pivot.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

Many thanks!

Paul

Hi,

In this case the Louvres are moving because the bounding box that determines the positioning of adjacent segments changes size as the pieces rotate. To get around this you can fix the size of the bounding box by entering a value in the Fixed Size > Y parameter for the louvre segment. Make sure that Scale Segment is turned off so that the new side doesn't change the actualy geometry.

You might also find this thread useful as it covers a similar use of RailClone : http://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=3484.msg13595#msg13595

Please find attached your revised file.

Many thanks!
