Title: material question for linear

I have a linear RC object and have added additional segments to the style editor.
The problem is that the RC object does not keep the new segment's material, but replaces them with the current RC Multisub material.

This seems expected, but is there a way to allow my added segments to keep their materials?

Hi,

Unlike Forest Pack, RailClone does not automatically consolidate materials and reassign IDs automatically so it's necessary to do this manually. We've been asked this a lot lately so I've just added an entry about it to our knowledge base (http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/KB/Knowledge+Base), you can read it here (http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/KB/Why+do+segments+in+RailClone+ignore+my+Materials).

Yes, thank you that is simple enough :)

I tried both and simply modifying the Railclone object's multi-sub material was most easy method, at least, in this one case.
