Missing clones after export to Unreal
« on: November 11, 2021, 12:26:39 PM »
Hi, itoo-team.

I´ve made a simple Railing. In Max everything is fine. But when I export it via datasmith all the clones in the splines part with bezier vertexes are missing.

When I using the RC Tools and instantionate, all the clones are there.

Thanks for letting us know.

Could you please let me know which versions of RailClone and Unreal you are using?

It looks as though it's the deformed sections that have gone missing. This may need to be reported to Epic as they are responsible for the plugin that exports RailClone and FP objects via Datasmith. We have no control over that part of the pipeline except to provide the API that they use. I'll see if I can reproduce it here, and get in touch with them.

Best,
Paul.

Thank you for your fast response.

It's Railclone Pro Version 4.3.2

I've tried the import in UE 5 early access and 4.27.

best regards

Thanks for the additional information, I can recreate this here. I'll try to get hold of someone at Epic. Hopefully it can be fixed.
