I am using multiple segments for random fill in RailClone, and each segment has a different material, but only one material is displayed when rendering (FStorm), what is the reason, is it not compatible with FStorm, and how can I fix it?

Use Segment Material isn't currently supported by FStorm. You can see the compatibility list here: https://docs.itoosoft.com/railclone/requirements
As a GPU renderer, support would need to be added by the Fstrorm developers, I'm afraid we can't support it from our side.
In the meantime, the solution is to consolidate materials manually. There's a little more information about it in the FAQ entry: https://docs.itoosoft.com/kb/railclone/why-do-segments-in-railclone-ignore-my-materials
I hope that helps,
Paul

@Paul Roberts
I mentioned the rendering instance update in the update introduction of 3dsmax2023 (it seems to unify the rendering instance API), does this mean that as long as FStorm supports this rendering instance, it can support RailClone instances?

Hi,
If we were to use the API then, in theory, yes. However, we tried to implement it and it wasn't possible with this initial version. We're waiting for Autodesk makes some changes to it, but we have no idea of when those will be available.
Cheers,
Paul
