How do I add custom made RailClones?
« on: February 15, 2022, 07:27:28 AM »
I downloaded MegaStairs off of cg procedurals. I was wondering if anyone knows how to install it so I can use it? I didn't see it under sticky.

Hi
This is not an Itoo product so I guess they don`t provide support for it.
I guess you'll have to figure it out for yourself or to contact the creator of those RC Objects.

If you just want to create a Library Item here is the tutorial for ForestPack. Though this tutorial focuses on Forest Pack, most of the techniques are equally applicable to creating libraries for RailClone.

note: New FP7 has more improvements on creating Library Items: https://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/how-to-add-items-to-the-forest-pack-7-library

Hi,

As Dragan has mentioned, this is a 3rd party library and any support requests should be directed to them. On the other hand if it's just a case of needing to add a Max file that contains a RailClone object to the library, then you might find our documentation on the matter useful. https://docs.itoosoft.com/railclone/next-steps-with-railclone/10-creating-presets

I hope that helps,
Paul
